Post Name: Horticulture Officer, Class-II 

Salary Package: Rs. 9300/- to 34800/- + Grade pay of Rs. 4400/- (per month) 

Vacancy Distribution: GPSC offers 64 vacancies for Horticulture Officer Recruitment 2014 that are also distributed among the candidates category wise as given bellow:

• Candidates belongs to General Category can apply for 32 vacancies in which 9 vacancies reserved for Female candidates.
• 14 vacancies reserved for S.E.B.C. candidates in which 4 vacancies for Female candidates.
• 17 vacancies reserved for S.T. candidates in which 5 for Female candidates.
• 1 vacancy reserved for S.C. candidates. 

The candidates existing in reserved category can apply against unreserved vacancies, but the eligibility criteria will be applicable as per Unreserved Category. 

Age Limit: At most 30 Years. 

Qualification Required: Candidate required a Master Degree or a second class Bachelor Degree in any stream of Horticulture and also have the basic knowledge of computer application. 

Language Known: Hindi or Gujarati or both.
