Number of Vacancies: JKPSC issues total 63 vacancies in following departments: 

• Animal Husbandry: 48 Vacancies
• Sheep Husbandry: 15 Vacancies 

Salary Offer: Rs. 9300 – 34800 + G.P. 5400 

Educational Criteria: Candidate must have the Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. 

Age Criteria: Age should be lie between 18 to 37 Years to the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon. 2 years of upper age relaxation for physically handicapped candidates and 3 years of upper age relaxation for RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC candidates will be allowed as per Government rule.

Applications forms are available at the office of JKPSC, Polo Ground Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on cash payment of Rs. 500/- for General Category and Rs. 250/- in respect of other category candidates.
