Assam Public Service Commission (PSC) combined competitive exam 2014 is going to conduct for the recruitment of various posts. Interested candidates may apply online before 10th may, 2014.

i. Assam Civil Service (Jr. Grade) – 90 Posts 

ii. Assam Police Service (Jr. Grade) – 47 Posts 

iii. Inspector of Taxes – 21 Posts 

iv. Superintendent of Taxes – 07 Posts 

v. District Transport Officer – 07 Posts 

vi. Labour Officer – 03 Posts 

vii. Superintendent of Excise – 03 Posts 

viii. Inspector of Labour – 01 Post 

ix. Inspector of Excise – 01 Post 

Pay Scale: Rs. 8000/- to 40,000/- 

Modes of Exam: Assam PSC Combined Competitive Exam will be held in two modes: 

1. Preliminary Examination 

2. Main Examination (Written and Interview) 

Examination Centers: Assam PSC defines following locations to conduct exam: Bongaigaon, Barpeta, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Dhemaji, Diphu, Golaghat, Goalpara, Haflong, Jorhat, Kokrajhar, Karimganj, Mangaldoi, Morigaon, Nagon, Nalbari, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Sivasagar, Tezpur, Tinsukia and Guwahati. [NOTE: Main examination will be held in Guwahati only.] 

Minimum Qualification: Graduation 

Application Fee: Rs. 50/- for General candidates and 25/- for SC & ST candidates.
