HP PAT 2014 Online Application Form

Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (HP PAT) notification has been announced by the Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharmashala for the academic session 2014 and the exam will be conducted on 18-05-2014 (Sunday) from 10:00am to 01:00pm. 

HP PAT organizes to take admission in three year diploma course running in various Polytechnic institutions (Govt. & Pvt.) under the state of Himachal Pradesh. 15% seats of total seats are reserved for the non-Himachali Indian national candidates. It is mandatory for departmental candidates to appear in the test.

Qualification: High School (10th) with minimum 35% marks. The students, who have appeared in 10th standard in 2014, may also apply for HP PAT 2014 and their eligibility shall be verified at the time of admission counselling.

Important Dates: 

• Last date for the submission of the application form: 26th April 2014 
• HP PAT 2014 Exam Date: 18th May 2014

Exam Pattern: HP PAT 2104 will include 150 questions of objective type and 4 different options for each question. There is a negative marking for each wrong answer. 

Admission Process: Admission in Polytechnic through HP PAT 2014 will be based on the counselling which depends on the performance of student in PAT.

Procedure to Apply: Students can purchase prospectus from the office of the Secretary, HP Takniki Shikhsa Board Dharamshala, cost of Rs. 650/- (Rs. 400/- for Reserved). 

Prospectus can also be obtained d through Registered Post by sending bank draft of Rs. 700/- (Rs. 450/- for Reserved) drawn in favor of Secretary, H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, payable at Dharamshala.
