UGC NET June 2014 Notification

University Grants Commission (UGC) has published the notification for National Eligibility Test (NET) for the academic year 2014-15. UGC organizes NET to select the qualified candidate apply for the position of Assistant professors and JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) in any University/College in the country. The Exam will be held on June 29, 2014 (Sunday). The exam is organized twice in a year, in the month of June and December.

UGC NET June 2014 will conduct in 79 subjects and at the 86 NET Coordinating Institutions spread across the country. 

Eligibility: Master Degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD). Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited may also apply for UGC NET 2014. 

Age Limit: To the post of Junior Research Fellowship age is not more than 28 years as on 01.06.2014. There is no upper age limit for the post of Assistant Professor. 

Application Fee: For Gen450/-Rs. / For OBC 225/-Rs. / For SC/ST/PWD 110/-Rs.
